Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway
The Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway runs from Beijing to Urumqi. It is the largest single highway construction project in Asia and an important transportation artery for the country's western development. With a total length of 930 kilometers, it passes through the Badain Jaran Desert, the Tengger Desert, and the Ulan Buh Desert, making it the world's longest desert highway.
